PDP, NC deliberately ignored Ladakh, backward areas: BJP

TSL News Network

JAMMU, Feb 1: NC and PDP have already lost the Battle-Elections 2019 especially when they refrained from participating in Panchayat and Urban Local Body (ULB) polls and are now eager to see themselves getting elected to represent same very lot who were made to watch democratic process from a distance”.

This was stated by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Suri who described holding ULB and Panchayat polls as biggest ever success of Modi government. To add to this, now a university is being inaugurated at Ladakh – a move that could have taken place anytime in between past seventy years but those ruling chose not to help people of cold desert.

Speaking while mobilising masses to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Vijaypur, Raman Suri today said that approval of Rs 6000 crore under PMDP besides setting up of AIIMS, IIMC, IIT, IIM, University Institute of Engineering and Technology besides ring roads for both capital cities, massive tunnelling and road projects once completed will transform J&K state into a prosperous state.

He accused previous governments of playing with sentiments of people and pushing their children towards militancy only to grind their own axe. Jammu and Kashmir state otherwise also was having ample potential in terms of power generations, tourism, hospitality and agriculture but previous regimes didn’t tap them for the benefit of their youth and instead filled their own coffers.
