3 member weightlifting team leaves for Nationals today

JAMMU, Dec 11: A three-member team, selected by the J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) shall leave for participation in the Youth and Junior National Championships to be held at Nagpur.

The three-member team included Nirbhay Partap Singh, Naman Singh and Rishab, a handout issued by the Association here today said. The team is accompanied by coach, Dhanraj Singh. Earlier, the team underwent screening conducted by the JKSSCC team of officials led by Chief Sports Officer (SCO), Abdul Qayoom.  Also present were president of J&K Weightlifting Association, Harbhajan Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Ravi Singh and Manager Indoor Complex, Satish Gupta.
