3500 people used internet services at DC office Kupwara


SRINAGAR, SEP 24: About 3500 people have utilized the internet services being provided at DC office complex Kupwara.

According to the figures reported by National Informatics centre (NIC) Kupwara, 3500 beneficiaries across the district utilized the internet services from September 5, 2019.

17 terminals have been made functional in three centres with 10 terminals at NIC, 2 at DIC with digital scanner to facilitate students and 2 at election cell for ARTO Kupwara while three have been kept for any additional work.

The internet beneficiaries include 2000 transporters, 1037 students, 226 traders, businessmen and contractors while the rest have been utilized by government department including police and army.
