Anantnag police arrests bootlegger

ANANTNAG, Jan 28: Police in Anantnag arrested a bootlegger during a naka checking at Check post Verinag and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.

A police party headed by DO Verinag intercepted a suspected person during a naka checking at Check post Verinag. During search, bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of Sadiq Shaksaaz son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Verinag. Anantnag police registered a case under relevant sections of law and initiated investigations in the matter.
