Anganwadi workers deliberate over govt schemes in Kargil

TAI SURU, Dec 31: To motivate Anganwadi Workers and to apprise them about various government schemes, CDPO Tai Suru organised several programmes.

To attract the Anganwadi workers towards the rich Culture of Purik, a Cultural Demonstration programme was organised at Yuljuk Tai Suru in which all the Anganwadi workers of Tai Suru participated in their traditional attire. CDPO Tai Suru Parveen Akhtar gave a detailed account of the programmes of child development.

Parveen apprised the participants about various schemes of social welfare department and Women Development Corporation. A traditional food programme for Anganwadi workers was also held to motivate the workers. Social Welfare Officer Kargil Aga Syed Jamal said that such out of box activities are needed to boost the morale of the workers to work in extreme cold conditions.
