Children returning from Bharat Darshan thank CRPF

JAMMU, Feb 1:  In a program organized at Headquarters 126 Bn CRPF at Bidda, Reasi the children returning from Bharat Darshan shared their experience, talked about how they realized the beauty of our nation and told that they had not even dreamt to see these cities at this age. 

Pertinent to mention that under Civic Action Program (CAP) by CRPF, 15 students of Govt Higher Secondary school Salal were sent to Delhi and Vishakhapatnam for ‘Bharat Darshan’ from 21.01.2019 to 31.01.2019. During this tour, besides visiting historical and tourist places, children were familiarized with art, culture, lifestyle, etc. of Delhi and Vishakhapatnam.

]The event was organized under the guidance of Shri Pradeep Singh Commandant 126 Bn CRPF. Chief Guest of the program, Shri Himanshu Shekher, Chief General Manager, NHPC, Salal during his address to the children congratulated them and said that whatever they have seen and learnt during the tour would help in shaping their future and personality development.

He further said to children that India is country with unity indiversity and they must have realised this during the course of this tour. While highlighting the importance of this program organized under Civic Action Program, he wished the children for their bright future and congratulated CRPF for successfully organizing this tour. Shri Pradeep Singh Commandant 126 Bn CRPF briefed about the venue, arrangements / facilities provided by 126 Bn. CRPF to the students for this tour and how the students have enriched themselves through this tour program.

During the program, Shri Gursharan Singh Deputy General Manager NHPC, Shri Suchit Tyagi Commandant CISF and Shri Tashori Lal Bhardwaj Principal Higher Secondary school, Salal were present as special guests. Others present during the event were senior officers of 126 Bn. CRPF, Subordinate officers, other ranks, teachers of Higher Secondary school and respectable citizens of village Bidda.
