DC Rajouri visits shelling affected families near LoC in Keri Sector


RAJOURI, MAY 06: To take stock of problems being faced by the people in LoC villages of Keri Sector due to cross border shelling, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad on Monday visited various affected areas there.

He was accompanied by other senior officers of civil administration and police.

DDC met with the people of villages along LoC, including Ratal Basali which suffered a lot due to border firing on Sunday, and took stock of their issues.

During the assessment of losses suffered by people in terms of deaths of animals and damage to houses and cattle sheds, DDC asked field officials to immediately conduct a survey and furnish report at the earliest for compensation.
