DEE&RS organises symposium, painting competition

JAMMU JUNE 04: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Department of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing (DEE&RS), today organised an Inter School Symposium and Painting Competition at Sun Light High School, Utter Behani, Samba.

The theme of the symposium was “Effects of Air Pollution on Environment “.

On the occasion, trophies were presented to the meritorious students besides distribution of Cotton bags, Jute bags and wicker baskets among the students and staff of different schools in order to discourage the use of plastics.

The event was held under the supervision of DFO Environment and Remote Sensing, Kuldeep Kumar in which about 1000 students along with faculty members of different schools participated.
