DIPR organizes cultural programme on drug de-addiction

JAMMU, MAY 27: The Cultural Wing, Department of Information & Public Relations(DIPR), Jammu organized a cultural programme based on drug de-addiction and folk culture at Jia Pota Ghat, Akhnoor.

Dogri Song on Drug de-addiction “ Nai Laayan Eh Buri Bamaari Nashey Di…..” presented by senior artist Mohinder Kumar besides Dogri song “ Loko Mikki Tang Sajjney Di…..”  presented by senior artist Balbir Singh was the main attraction of the programme.

Earlier, Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand gave a brief resume of the activities being carried out by the Cultural Wing DIPR to disseminate awareness among the masses about drug de-addiction and other social evils.

The proceedings of the cultural programme were conducted by senior artist  Suresh Kumar.

Among others, prominent citizens of the area, locals, pilgrims and tourists also witnessed the programme.
