Interschool District Level Shooting Championship commenced


JAMMU, JUNE 3: Interschool District Level Shooting Championship commenced with the Inaugural of the Summer Shooting Camp at International Delhi Public School which was organized by District Youth Sports service. Participants from Delhi Public School, KC Public School, Jammu Sanskriti and IDPS Jammu participated for the Championship.

Inaugural of Summer Shooting Camp at IDPS organized in collaboration with JKRA. We have always believed that Sports are an indispensable part of a student’s life and every child should get a platform to discover their hidden talents and for that we have made sure that we have all the facilities at IDPS by providing them with a full-fledged Indoor Shooting Range and an Indoor Sports Arena as we strive for the best both in academics and Sports.
The event got the revered presence of Chief Guest Mr.B.S Mankotia President National Panthers Party J&K & Former MLA Udhampur, Guest of honour Ms.Chanchal Kour  – District Officer in Youth Services and Sports, Special Guest Mr. Zeet Singh Zonal Officer Physical Education in Youth Services & Sports, Ms. Rohini Aima Principal Jammu Sanskriti School and other dignitaries from J&K Rifle Association- Mr KS Jamwal, President JKRA; Mr. Amjad Parveiz – General Secretary JKRA, Mr. Sharat Chander- Vice President JKRA, Mr. Rajesh Virdi – Chairman Technical Committee JKRA. 

Ms. Randeep Wazir, Academic Director IDPS presented the welcome address and also expressed her sincere thanks to Mr.vivek Gupta, 
Director IDPS, Mr.Suminder Singh, Managing Director IDPS, Mr. Swaran Singh Choudhary, Managing Director IDPS for being supportive and giving their presence for the event.
We appreciate the staff of IDPS and members of JKRA for supporting this event as this is going to provide an opportunity to the shooting enthusiasts to hone their skills of shooting and will provide them rigorous training sessions to instil the spirit of sportsmanship.
