JAMMU, Jan 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police made a poor start in the 67th B N Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship losing to Tripura 0-4 in the group-F match at IRBN Ground, Pandikkad in Kerela.
As per the reports reaching here, the J&K Police had no match to the confident side of Tripura, who dominated the 70-minute game. Now, in their next outing, J&K shall take on Railway Protection Force (RPF) tomorrow at 5 pm at the same venue.
Important to mention here that the J&K Police failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the Police Games in last two editions. However, it was in the year 2017 that J&K Police played in the quarterfinals.
