JU wins opening Volleyball tie in North Zone Inter-Varsity

JAMMU, Dec 11: University of Jammu (JU) made a winning start after they registered a 3-1 win against IGU Rewari in the ongoing North Zone Inter-University (Men) Volleyball Tournament, organised by the CSJM Kanpur under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

As per the reports reaching here, it was not an easy going for JU, who, however, won the close sets maintaining their cool. The Score: 25-23, 18-25, 27-25, 25-23). Harsh Vardhan, Rahul Sharma, Sangram Singh and Rubain Tezi performed well from JU. Now, in their next outing, JU shall take on CCS University, Meerut tomorrow.
