Milad procession in Srinagar witnesses huge rush, speakers call for peace

SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Srinagar City today witnessed an unprecedented Milad procession with people from all walks of life joining it and pledging to spread the message far and wide.

While addressing unprecedented Milad procession at Holy Sufi Shrine of Hazrat Amir Kabir RA, ex-DG Information Khawaja Farooq Renzu Shah said that celebration Milad is  one of the fundamental expression of love in Islam. On this occasion, Imam of Historical Sona Masjid Maulana Khateeb Rahim Sahib  Sahil of Sona Masjid Habba kadal , Javid Ahmad Tota ,Arshad  Mir, Nazir Makhdoomi, Haji Moulana Kumar, Rizwan, Khan Adil Hussain and other  galaxy of distinguished personalities participated in procession which passed through all roads of Shahar e khaas, Zalashpora, Zaina kadal, Aali kadal,Pather Masjid and other vicinities.

Similarly, Kashmir Society International organized processions of Eid Milad in erstwhile District Doda.  The Chairman Kashmir Society International Khawaja Farooq Renzushah further highlighted spiritual importance of Holy Milad particularly during Holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal. He said that entire universe has been created by Allah as symbol of love for Great prophet.

He said the celebration of Holy Milad is not only restricted to this holy month but each second ,each minute and each hour throughout year is message of love and message of Milad. He said that  Kashmir Society International was the first Sufi oriented organization which started biggest ever Eid Milad procession in 2010 and 2011 from Harwan to Nishat. He said since then we have been able to organize Eid Milad procession in all parts of Kashmir valley.
