Militant hideout busted in Sopore

Srinagar, Nov 3: Based on a credible input, Sopore Police along with security forces busted a militant hideout in Brath area of Sopore, in Baramulla district north Kashmir.

A police spokesman in a statement said that on a credible input Sopore Police recovered huge quantity of incriminating materials including utensils, food items and personal apparel from the hideout.

Police has registered a case in this regard and the incriminating materials have been seized by the police and taken into records for the purpose of investigation. Investigation in the matter is in progress, the spokesman said.

Pertinently, Sopore Police yesterday arrested one active militant from the area identified as Danish Tariq Channa, a resident of Stadium Colony Baramulla.
