Peaks XI meets Khalsa Club in Hockey final today

JAMMU, Dec 25: Peaks XI shall be playing against Khalsa Club Gole Gujral in the final of the Ist  Chaar Sahibzade Hockey Tournament, organised by Akali Kour Singh Sports Club under the aegis of Hockey J&K at K K Hakhu Stadium, here tomorrow.

Earlier, in the semifinals, Peaks XI defeated Champions Club 3-2 via tie-breaker. In the stipulated time the match ended in a goalless draw.

In other semifinal, Khalsa Club blanked AKS Digiana 3-0.  Gagandeep struck twice netting the banall in the 19th and 50th minute. Manpreet improved the lead sounding the board in 39th minute.

In today’s semifinals, Editor Kashmir Times, Pramod Jamwal, Mohinder Singh, president Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Rakesh Gupta and Corporator, Sobat Ali were special guests. The matches officiated by the technical penal including Joginder Singh, Balmeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Ranjit Singh, Karanjit Singh, R PSingh Sarma and Jaspreet Singh.
