Power House wins opening match of Women Hockey

POONCH, Dec 25:  Power House won the opening match of the three-match women’s Hockey series, organised by the Hockey Poonch at Sports Stadium, here today.

Power House defeated Government Higher Secondary School Club Poonch by three goals to nil. Sneha scored first goal in the sixth minute, followed by two goals coming from the stick of Urvashi in the 25th and 55th minute of the match.

Councillor Ward No. 14 of Poonch Municipal Committee, Harpreet Kour was the chief guest, who interacted with the teams and encouraged the girls. Also present were Nidosh Kumar (Manager Sports Stadium Pooch), Rajesh Kumar, Ravinder Singh, Sourab Sharma, Ramprakash and Rajinder Singh.

The match officiated by the technical penal including Sunil Raina, Sanjeev Kumar, Vishal Sudan and Shaid. This championship is being organised under the technical supervision of Pawan Kumar (hockey coach).
