Taekwondo Belt promotion test held

JAMMU, Dec 27: Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA), headed by D N Pangotra, today successfully conducted a Belt promotion test at Brahman Sabha, Parade, here involving 50 athletes from Jammu District.

The sole motive of conducting the Belt promotion test was to empower young male and female Taekwondo trainees after attaining a level of perfection in the game.

The promotion test was conducted under the supervision of International player and treasurer of JKTA Zaheer Abbas. Referee chairman Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI), Atul Pangotra of J&K and Anuj Sharma (organising secretay of JKTA) were special guests.

Later, the ceremonial stage was joined by Subhaas Shashtri (president Majdoor Association Jammu) as chief guest. Also present were Manager Brahman Sabha, Romesh Sharma and Nisar Hussain (vice president JKTA).
