Udhampur: Govt schools shine in class 10 results


UDHAMPUR, MAY 15: An impressive function was organized today by District Administration Udhampur to felicitate students who excelled in class 10 results recently declared by JKBOSE.

District Development Commissioner  Dr. Piyush Singla felicitated the meritorious students Rashmi Sharma of Government Girls High School Jaganoo ( 98%) , Dheeraj Singh of Govt High Secondary School, Salmerhi (93.8%) ,Sneh Sharma of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Udhampur (93.4%), Sonia Sharma of Govt Higher Secondary School Chak Rakhwalan (92.4%),  Narinder Kumar Sharma of Govt High School Seen Thakran (90.06%), Preety Sharma of Govt Girls High School Jaganoo (90.6%).

DDC extended his best wishes to the meritorious students, their parents and said that it was a proud moment for Udhampur district.

He also motivated the students to read newspapers and general knowledge books in addition to their syllabus books.

He appealed the general public to enrol their wards in government schools and avail the guidance of highly educated teachers.
