Vaibhavi adjudged best Rhythmic Gymnast in district Championship

JAMMU, Dec 11: Vaibhavi today emerged as best Rythmic Gymnast in the day-long Jammu District Championship which was organised by the J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) in view of the ‘black listing’ of the J&K Gymnastics Association.

Vaibhavi won four gold medals in as many events he took part thereby named as best Gymnast by the penal of judges.

As per a handout issued here today, around 150 young boys and girls took part in this competition. Chief Sports Officer of the JKSSC, Abdul Qayoom was chief guest, who along with Divisional Sports Officer, Ravi Singh presented medals to the winners of different age groups.

Among others present were SP Singh (Manager Mini Stadium, Parade), Satish Gupta (Manager Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium), Iqbal Singh (Football Coach), Kurpali Singh (Gymnastic Coach), Manisha Gupta (Gymnastic Coach) and Jagjeet Singh (Hockey Coach).
